Beaver Removal in the Twin Cities Metro Area, Part I

Most people do not think of beavers as high on their list of rodent pests which will do damage in their yard and around their homes.  On the contrary, beavers are the largest rodent in North America, weighing from 35 to 50 pounds.  Some even make it to 75-80 pounds.  In the land of 10,000 lakes, beaver infestations are not uncommon.

Beavers quickly build their homes, or dams, in any body of water.  They can build a dam in a small pond or stream or a large rushing river.  They do not care where they get the wood needed to build their large beaver dams, lodges and bank dens.  This is where the homeowner comes in.  Since a beaver is a very fast home builder, they can destroy much of your lake property or home if you are near a water source very quickly.

If you have seen a beaver den or dam near your home and are concerned about the safety of your trees and property, give us a call.  We at Minnesota Wild Animal Management Inc. are experts at the humane removal of beavers that may be causing damage to your property.

We will also take steps to ensure the beavers do not return to your property.  Call Minnesota Wild Animal Management Inc. today at:
